One year goals:
Design diagnostic kits to diagnose common infectious agents
Preparation of a comprehensive microbial bank for monitoring common resistant strains in the region
Screening, epidemiology, prevention and care in infections associated with high-risk behaviors with emphasis on viral diseases
Screening, epidemiology, prevention and care in microbial resistance and nosocomial infections
Design and production of antimicrobial vaccines (including bacteria, parasites, viruses and fungi), production of recombinant proteins as new vaccine candidates
Development of new therapies such as Crisper genome editing systems
